Think of them as a "test day plan" — you pick the tests, name the template, and push it to your students.
How templates work:
1. You create a template — e.g. "Mid-Year Fitness Assessment" — and pick specific tests from categories like Aerobic Endurance, Muscular Strength, Flexibility, etc.
2. You assign it to a team — The template is pushed to all students in that team
3. Students see it in their app — The tests appear ready to record results against
Why use templates?
- Consistency — Every student in a team gets the same set of tests
- Reusability — Create once, assign to multiple teams
- Efficiency — No need to manually set up tests for each student
Example:
A "Term 1 Fitness Battery" template might include: Cooper Run (12 min), Push-ups (1 min), Sit & Reach, and Illinois Agility Test. Assign it to your Year 9 and Year 10 teams, and all those students immediately see those four tests in their app.
