Available to Premium Users Only
Custom tests allow Premium users to tailor the app to their own testing protocols—perfect for schools, coaches, or trainers who want to record unique assessments beyond the built-in options.
To unlock custom test creation, upgrade to Premium inside the app.
Open the app.
Go to the "Enter & View Results" screen.
Tap “Create Custom Test.”
Here’s how to complete each field in the form:
Test Name: Give your test a clear name (e.g., Plank Hold with Arm Lift).
Description: Provide a short explanation of how the test is performed and what it measures.
Example:
Hold a plank position while lifting one arm forward every 10 seconds for 3 seconds. Alternate arms. The test ends when form breaks or the participant stops. Tests core endurance and shoulder stability.
Category: Choose the fitness component this test aligns with (e.g., Muscular Endurance).
Unit Type: Select how you want to measure the results (e.g., Repetitions, Seconds, Meters).
Value Type: Choose Integer (whole numbers) or Decimal (e.g., 5.5) based on how the results will be entered.
Scoring Direction: Indicate whether higher or lower scores are better (e.g., higher is better for push-ups, lower is better for sprint times).
Minimum Value: Set the lowest possible score for the test (usually 0).
Maximum Value (Optional): You can leave this blank if there’s no upper limit.
If you'd like to assign performance ratings (e.g., Needs Work, Fair, Good, Very Good) based on age and gender, you can do so here. This helps standardize feedback across different test results.
Select Active Gender: Choose between Male or Female.
Set an Age Range:
Tap “Add Age Range” and enter the minimum and maximum ages (e.g., 10–50).
Enter Rating Thresholds:
For each performance category (e.g., Needs Work, Fair, etc.), enter the minimum value required to achieve that rating.
These ratings are used when a result is entered to automatically provide performance-level feedback.
Example:
For a test using "Repetitions" as the scoring unit:
Needs Work: 2
Fair: 5
Good: 10
Very Good: 20
You can add multiple age ranges per gender, or leave these sections blank if you prefer not to use norms.
When you're done, tap "Save Custom Test." Your new test will now appear in your test list whenever you enter results.
You can create multiple custom tests to match your program’s needs.
If you want to edit or delete a custom test later, go to your test list and tap the options next to the test name.
